Typically, starting with a comprehensive assessment considering your pain history, we obtain an understanding of the injury/pain. We perform a physical exam involving a postural scan, testing for mobility and strength and some special tests to help diagnose your problem. Subsequently, we discuss our findings and recommendations with you to determine the treatment direction.

Our treatment goals are developed together with your specific goals in mind, whether they be pain relief, improved strength, long term management, etc. Treatment strategies may involve education regarding postural adjustments, ergonomic advice, exercise program assistance/development, advice regarding bracing, return to work assistance and long-term strategies to help prevent further problems.

We utilize manual therapy, modalities (ultrasound, interferential current, etc.) and advice regarding other treatment options if we feel you might benefit from some other management strategies beyond or along with our specific skill set.
